There are at least 2 times a year you should look over your Social Media pages like, LinkedIn, Facebook and others and do some maintenance. The New Year and July are 2 of the times I recommend to do this.

Today we are going to talk about blogging. We are asked regularly if blogging is worth it. Our answer is most definitely, YES! I am not here to teach you how to blog, but I do have some ideas on how to start blogging.

I have to admit I get annoyed when someone who is waiting on me at a store or restaurant, or for that matter any business, after I have said thank you for whatever it was they had done for me, says back to me "No Problem". I hear it everywhere and wonder who trains these people at this company? How does the training or HR department allow this to go on?

Most of you know how much fun social media can be, from keeping up with your family across the country, knowing when your high school and college reunions are and who will be there to keeping up with the news. Content marketing should be about what your clients want and need. Ask yourself - How do I solve my clients and followers problems? How do I build a relationship with them and provide them value? How do I become their thought leader and trusted advisor through my content? 

When managing your social media pages, it is not all about posting. Things that can make posting more important is great content and knowing your audience and company size before deciding how often you should be posting.

Your plan and mission should help guide you where to go.

How often you post will depend on how much you have to offer, and the response you get from your followers.
